Flooding May Close Ballard WMA to Hunting

ky fish wildlife 300FRANKFORT, Ky. (1/18/12) - Ballard Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Ballard County is subject to closure this weekend due to rising river levels and possible flooding.
 
Waterfowl hunters planning to visit Ballard this weekend should first call the WMA office at (270) 224-2244 to verify that the area will be open for hunting.
