HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (2/13/13) – This year Hopkins County Relay for Life will be held at Hopkins County Central High School on May 31st. The goal is to have 60 Teams, register 300 Survivors, and raise $160,000. You may ask where the money goes.
Your tax deductible donation is used to provide grants to researchers who have devoted their lives to find cures for ALL types of cancers. It supports free programs offered to cancer patients, survivors and caregivers. Among these are the 24/7 ACS hotline (1-800-227-2345) which is available to anyone who may have questions or need help, Road to Recovery which provides transportation for those needing a ride to/from treatments, Look Good/Feel Better for women who are having treatments, and there are various other programs offered.
