FRANKFORT, Ky. (3/22/13) – The following is a quote from Todd Hollenbach, Kentucky Treasurer.
 
“Today at the Friday, March 22nd meeting of the Kentucky Lottery Board of Directors, I asked my fellow directors to join with me and approve a resolution to begin offering Keno games and Internet lottery sales.
 
I have been working over the past several weeks to make sure that we had the support for this measure. I believe it is our duty as board members to maximize the opportunity for dividends from the lottery for the betterment of the Commonwealth.
 
Today’s action is simply one small effort to help our fiscally starved state and provide a resource for our governor and legislature to move us forward.”
