ARREST griggsGREENVILLE, Ky. (4/19/13) – An investigation by Muhlenberg County Sheriff Detective Wade Griggs resulted in two Greenville residents being charged with drug charges.
 
On Thursday, April 18, officers went to 440 Country Lane Drive, Apt. 60, in Greenville to serve an arrest warrant on Ronald L. Hogg. While inside the home officers noticed two partial marijuana cigarettes. Detective Griggs then obtained a search warrant. Upon execution of the warrant, Griggs found 11 bags of marijuana, grinders, pipes and two sets of digital scales.
 
Hogg was charged with trafficking in less than 8 ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Gabriel D. Mitchell, of the same address, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and hindering prosecution, apprehension 2nd degree.
 
Both Mitchell and Hogg were lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
 
Griggs was assisted by Sheriff Curtis McGehee, Deputies Pat Putnam, Terry Vick and Will Ward; KSP Trooper Jon McGehee, Muhlenberg County Sheriff Detective Troy Gibson, assigned to Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, and Greenville PD.
