FRANKFORT, Ky. (7/25/13) – The Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) is seeking the input of Kentucky residents to help reconstruct its website. Kentuckians can provide thoughts and insights into improving the usability and features of the website by filling out the online survey at: http://chfs.ky.gov/online_survey by Aug. 1.
“We hope all those who are interested in or already use the Cabinet’s programs and services will take a few minutes to share their thoughts and feedback on how our website can better meet their needs,” said CHFS Secretary Audrey Tayse Haynes. “Technology has changed by leaps and bounds since our website was constructed. Our goal is to take these survey findings and build an improved website that will be both easier to use and better equipped for the large number of Kentuckians we work with and serve on a daily basis need.”
The survey will be up for a week and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete, Haynes said.
CHFS is home to most of the state's human services and health care programs, including Medicaid, the Department for Community Based Services and the Department for Public Health, and its website is used for a wide range of activities, including obtaining birth certificates, paying child support, and providing updates to health care providers.
The Cabinet is one of the largest agencies in state government, with nearly 8,000 full and part-time employees throughout the Commonwealth focused on improving the lives and health of Kentuckians.
