MURRAY, KY (4/2/12) – On Sunday, April 1, 2012, at approximately 2:37 PM, Kentucky State Police were dispatched to the scene of a reported accident with injuries on 641 South.
Once on the scene, Troopers found that 23-year-old Isaiah Currie was traveling northbound when his vehicle ran off the right shoulder of the highway. Currie could not maintain control of the vehicle, and rolled over several times.
Currie and his passenger, 21-year-old Cassius Morton of Memphis Tennessee, were transported to Murray/Calloway County Hospital for minor non-life threatening injuries. Both were released from the hospital a short time later.
Trooper Michael Bennett was assisted on the scene of the accident by the Calloway County Fire Department and the Murray/Calloway County EMS.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
