CALLOWAY COUNTY, KY (6/1/12) – The Kentucky State Police are investigating the theft of tools used by a mowing crew in Calloway County. The incident occurred on KY 80 at the Marshall/Calloway County line.
On Friday morning, Kentucky State Police received a call of a theft from the mowing crew. The team was mowing the right-of-ways and median on KY 80. They quit for the evening on Thursday, May 31 at approximately 6 p.m. and left the tractors on the side of the road. When they returned to the tractors at 6:30 Friday morning, they discovered tools, a John Deere tool box, grease guns and diesel fuel had been stolen from the tractors.
