CALLOWAY COUNTY, KY (7/24/12) – A two-vehicle collision resulted in minor injuries to one man Monday afternoon.
According to the Kentucky State Police report, the incident occurred around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Radio Road. At that time, 56-year-old James Phillips was traveling east on Roosevelt Road when he is alleged to have disregarded the stop sign and crossed over Radio Road in front of 69-year-old James Puckett who was traveling south on Radio Road.
The report states that Puckett struck Phillips’ vehicle at the intersection. Puckett sustained minor injuries, but did not need medical attention.
Kentucky State Police were assisted by Calloway County Fire Rescue and Calloway County EMS. Trooper Michael Bennett is listed as the Investigating Officer for the incident.
