FARMINGTON, KY (7/27/12) – Kentucky State Police responded to a residence on KY 1124 after receiving a call from a female stating she was assaulted in her residence.
Upon arrival, Troopers found the complainant and another victim with what appeared to be knife wounds to the neck and hand. Both victims stated two men had unlawfully entered the home and began assaulting them.
After investigation, Troopers arrested Jody Smith and Christopher Smith, both of Calloway County. Jody Smith was charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Burglary 1st Degree, Intimidating a Witness in the Legal Process, and Assault 4th Degree. Christopher Smith was charged with Assault 2nd Degree (Complicity), Burglary 1st Degree, Intimidating a Witness in the Legal Process, and Assault 4th Degree.
Both subjects were lodged in the Graves County Jail. The investigation continues by Trooper Jody Cash.
