CALLOWAY COUNTY, KY (9/18/12) – A Murray man has been arrested and charged in connection with three burglaries.
On September 15, Murray Police arrested David R. Todd, 33 of Murray, charging him with three counts of 3rd degree burglary. Murray Police Sgt. Chris Scott and Officer Brant Shutt responded to a reported burglary at Cohoon’s Used Cars on Diuguid Drive. Officers noticed that burglaries had occurred at Big Hal’s Automart, and Jerry West Used Cars as well.
Upon the officers’ arrival, David Todd, was found walking near the scene. During the investigation Detective Angel Clere located evidence linking David Todd to the crime. Todd was then brought to the police department for questioning where he confessed to all three burglaries.
Stolen items included tools, office supplies, money, hydrocodone pills, and a checkbook. Todd was lodged at the Calloway County Jail.
