MURRAY, Ky. (3/7/13) – On March 7, at approximately 12:15 AM, officers from the Murray Police Department noticed a vehicle swerving in traffic.
After pulling the subject over, an odor of alcoholic beverage was noted and the driver was taken into custody following administration of standard field tests. In the vehicle a large amount of marijuana, along with plastic baggies and scales, were discovered.
Nakiah Gibson, 24, of Farmington, was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs 2nd Offense (Aggravating Circumstance), Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Trafficking in Marijuana (Less than 8 Ounces) 1st Offense, and two counts of Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree
