MURRAY, Ky. (4/4/13) – Kentucky State Police responded to a residence on Campbell Street in Murray to attempt to serve a warrant.
While investigating the whereabouts of the originally sought person, Joshua Vaughn was located and provided the Trooper with a false name. While investigating the true identity of Mr. Vaughn, he fled on foot. After foot pursuit through the parking lot and apartment complex, Vaughn was apprehended. During a subsequent search of the vehicle and residence shared by Vaughn and Deeanne Natividad, numerous drugs, paraphernalia, and a handgun were located. Vaughn and Natividad also had an 8 year old child with them.
Vaughn was arrested and charged with: Fugitive from Another State, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree, Giving Police Officer False Name, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), 2 Counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Cocaine), Trafficking a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Cocaine), Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 2 Counts of Prescription Controlled Substance Not in Proper Container, Possession of Marijuana, and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.
Natividad was arrested and charged with: Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Cocaine), 2
