MURRAY, Ky. (5/28/13) – On May 24, 2013, Murray Police Department Officer Jon-Michael Hill made a traffic stop at McDonald’s on north 12th Street in Murray.
The traffic stop was made for speeding. Officer Hill noted a smell of Marijuana and requested K-9 officer Timmons and the department’s K-9, Tiko, to respond. Inside the vehicle were discovered approximately 6 ounces of suspected Marijuana with a street value of approximately $2400.
Also recovered was over $1000 in cash.
Trevor Patton, 24, of Murray, was charged with Trafficking in Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of an Open Alcoholic Beverage Container, Speeding, and other traffic charges.
