MURRAY, Ky. (8/5/13) – On August 2, 2013, at approximately 9:30 am, a search warrant was executed at a residence on Sandy Pine Drive in Murray, KY.
The search warrant was a result of a drug investigation by Trooper Jody Cash. Upon execution of the warrant, Kentucky State Police located several items indicative of drug trafficking as well as marijuana cultivation.
Additionally, numerous stolen items were located at the residence including GPS units, gaming systems and firearms. Two juveniles located at the scene, were each charged with Trafficking in Marijuana less than 8oz (Firearm Enhanced), Possession of Marijuana (Firearm Enhanced), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Firearm Enhanced), Receiving Stolen Property less than $10,000, Possession of a Defaced Firearm and Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm).
One of the juveniles was released to the custody of their parents while the other was lodged in the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center.
The investigation continues by Trooper Jody Cash, who was assisted by Murray Police Department and the Kentucky State Police Canine Section.
