Madisonville/Muhlenberg Residents Arrested on Meth Charges

arrest 3MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (3/16/13) – On March 14, 2013, Trooper Jon McGehee conducted a traffic stop on 1995 Chevrolet Blazer, for registration violations, approximately five miles west of the Midland Community.
 
The vehicle in question was being operated by William E. Mitchell Jr. of Bremen. James A. Dukes and Cody E. Howton, both of Madisonville, were the only passengers. After further investigation, a methamphetamine lab was located inside the vehicle, as well as items commonly used in the manufacturing process of methamphetamine.
 
All three subjects were lodged at the Muhlenberg County Detention Center on the following charges: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of a Meth Precursor 1st Offense, and Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense.
 
Mitchell was also cited for traffic offenses.
