Hopkinsville Police Arrest Fugitive

 

LOVE ARRESTEDHOPKINSVILLE, KY (2/24/12) – A Hopkinsville man featured as a Fugitive of the Week on Wednesday was taken into custody later that same evening.  According to the Hopkinsville Police report, 27-year-old Decole Love was arrested Wednesday night at 9:13 p.m.

The report states that Love was arrested at an East 7th Street apartment.  Officers made an address check at the residence looking for Love when they discovered him at that location.  He was arrested on the strength of two warrants signed by Judge Fleming, one on January 11 and the other on January 23.

Love is charged with one count of Flagrant Non-Support, one count of 2nd Degree Escape and Contempt of Court.  Late last year, Love was furloughed from the Christian County Jail and ordered to pay $363 by December 28.  He was also to report back to the jail by 6 p.m. on December 29.  The warrant states that Love did not pay and did not turn himself into the jail.  The warrant also states that Love has accumulated child support arrearages totaling $9800.   

Officer Jason Sears made the arrest on Wednesday evening.  Love is currently housed in the Christian County Jail.
