Around 2 a.m. Monday, police were dispatched to 1519 West 7th Street in reference to someone trying to kick in the front door. The victim told police that he heard someone trying to break into his residence. The victim went outside and saw a white male wearing a blue sweat shirt and blue jeans on his porch.
