CCSO Investigating Thefts of Electronic Equipment

BURGLARY DOORHOPKINSVILLE, KY (3/6/12) – Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Department are investigating two separate incidents that involved the theft of electronic equipment. The crimes are both classified as 2nd degree burglaries.

The first incident occurred on Sunday between 11:30 a.m. and Noon. The report states that deputies responded to the burglary call at 39 Yoakum Circle. Angelina Medina told authorities that a 32 inch plasma television and a laptop computer had been taken from the premises. The total estimated value of the stolen items is placed at $750.

The second incident took place at 13350 Greenville Road on Monday between 7:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. When the deputy arrived, Gary Ebling reported that he had left the home that morning and returned around 1:30 p.m. When he arrived home he realized his front door had been forced open and his Toshiba 42 inch television had been stolen. The television is valued at $1,200.

Both cases remain open and anyone with information is encouraged to contact officials with the Christian County Sheriff’s Department.
