Daviess County Sheriff’s Dept. Arrests Local Man on Theft Charges

Theft glass broken 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (4/5/13) – On April 3, 2013, at approximately 9:52 p.m., the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office received a call for service at Mid American Metals where the owner allegedly found an individual on his property taking several metal car rims. The suspect vacated the property and the victim lost sight of him on Reid Road. Deputies were able to locate 32-year-old Jacob Haley at his girlfriend’s home on Thruston Dermont Road. The car rims, approximately 16 of them, were in the bed of the suspects truck, authorities said.

Haley was arrested at the scene and the property was released to the owner.
