KSP Requests Public Information Identifying Suspects

ksp suspectsKENTUCKY (4/12/13) – The Kentucky State Police is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying three individuals suspected of cashing stolen checks throughout Kentucky, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Virginia, and North Carolina.

The three individuals are described as Hispanic males ranging in ages from the mid-twenties to mid-fifties. They typically use out-of-state identification cards or driver’s licenses. If a bank attempts to contact the business the check is drawn on, the suspects will leave. The fraudulent checks have been written for between $950 and $999.

While the names given to the banking institutions on the provided identification change, the suspects’ photos remain the same.

Anyone with information concerning the identity of these individuals, is urged to contact the KSP at 1-270-676-3313 or toll-free, in Kentucky, at 1-800-222-5555. Callers may remain anonymous.
