Indian Hills Elementary School Principal Selected

cc board educationCHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (5/20/13) – Michelle Ladd, currently the assistant principal at Caldwell County Middle School, has been selected as the new principal of Indian Hills Elementary School.
 
Ladd is a graduate of Murray State University where she earned her Bachelor's of Science degree. She received her Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Louisville and her Rank I in Administration from Murray State University. Ladd has 14 years of experience in education as a special education teacher and as an assistant principal.
 
Superintendent Mary Ann Gemmill states, “I am pleased with council’s decision to hire Ms. Ladd as the new Indian Hills Elementary School principal. Her success as a teacher and as an assistant principal makes her an ideal candidate for this position. She will be a great asset to this district.” The school’s site-based council received 19 applications for the principal position.
 
Ladd says she is honored to be given the opportunity to serve as the new principal of Indian Hills. She is excited to work with students, staff, parents and the community. Her first day as principal will be July 1, 2013.
