Christian County Middle School principal selected

cc board educationCHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (5/22/13) – Christopher Bentzel, currently the principal of Lacy Elementary School, has been selected as the new principal of Christian County Middle School.
 
Bentzel is a graduate of Elizabethtown College (Lancaster, PA) where he earned his Bachelor's of Arts degree in Elementary Education. He received his Master’s degree in School Administration from Murray State University. Bentzel has 8 years of experience in education as a teacher and as a principal.
 
“Mr. Bentzel shows exemplary leadership skills and is results driven. I have no doubt that he will continue to build on the level of success at Christian County Middle School” says Superintendent Mary Ann Gemmill. The school’s site-based council reviewed 19 applications for the principal position.
 
Mr. Bentzel says he is extremely grateful for the opportunity to become part of the CCMS Colonel family and he looks forward to the upcoming school year. His first day as principal will be July 1, 2013.
