felts 300HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (6/17/13) – Hopkinsville Police Lieutenant Michael Felts was one of 216 law enforcement officers who recently graduated from the F.B.I. National Academy program at Quantico, Virginia.
 
The 253rd session, of the National Academy, consisted of men and women from across the United States, international countries, military organizations, federal civilian organizations, and the District of Columbia.
 
Internationally known for its academic excellence, the National Academy program offers ten weeks of advanced investigative, management, and fitness training for selected officers having proven records as professionals within their agencies.
 
The F.B.I. National Academy is a professional course of study for U.S. and international law enforcement leaders that serves to improve the administration of justice in police departments and agencies at home and abroad and to raise law enforcement standards, knowledge, and cooperation worldwide.
