mcc2 300HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (6/25/13) - The Madisonville Community College (MCC) Enrollment Center will host a special Advising & Registration Day on Wednesday, June 26th from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Academic advisors will be on hand to assist readmit, transfer, and other students plan their class schedules for the fall 2013 semester. Only students who have previously attended MCC or another college will be eligible to register during the event.

“This is a great opportunity for students to get a jump start on fall registration,” according to Cathy Vaughan, academic advisor. “Students should be able to develop a great class schedule that really fits their academic and personal needs.”

Students may also take advantage of MCC’s expanded online course schedule. “Students taking our local online classes get the best of both worlds,” according to Dr. Deborah Cox, chief academic affairs officer. “Students get the convenience of online learning with faculty available to meet with them locally if they have questions.”

In addition, MCC financial aid advisors will be available to assist students with any financial aid questions or with their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The priority deadline for fall 2013 financial aid awards is July 1. Students applying or completing the FAFSA after this date will encounter significant delays in processing.

No appointment is necessary. For more information, contact the MCC Enrollment Center at (270) 824-8621.
