holiday hours 4thPADUCAH, Ky. (6/27/13) – Due to the Independence Day holiday, City of Paducah Engineering-Public Works crews will not be collecting residential trash on Thursday, July 4. Thursday’s routes will be done on Friday, July 5 in addition to Friday’s routes. Since on July 5 crews will be doubling their collection routes and adjusting their shifts, citizens with Thursday or Friday collection schedules are recommended to place trash containers at their designated collection point Thursday evening (July 4).
 
The City of Paducah Compost Facility located at 1560 North 8th Street will be closed to the public on Thursday, July 4 for the Independence Day holiday but will resume normal operating hours on Friday, July 5. The regular operating schedule for the Compost Facility is Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.
 
If you have questions about the Compost Facility or the trash collection schedule, contact the Engineering-Public Works Department at 444-8567.
 
City Hall located at 300 South 5th Street will be closed on Thursday, July 4 for the Independence Day holiday.
