CHILD PORN 300CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (7/12/13) – Attorney General Jack Conway and his Cybercrimes Unit today announce the arrest of Christian County man on child pornography charges. Hopkinsville Police arrested 43-year-old Robert G. Walker on June 19, 2013 following his indictment by a Christian County grand jury on eight counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and four counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
 
The charges against Walker are the result of an undercover investigation by General Conway's Cybercrimes Unit that began on August 16, 2012. A search warrant was executed at Walker's Hopkinsville residence on January 11, 2013 with assistance from Kentucky State Police.
 
Walker is lodged in the Christian County jail on $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Christian Circuit Court on June 26, 2013.
 
Since its creation in June of 2008, General Conway's Cybercrimes Unit has launched 341 child pornography investigations and seized more than 403,000 child pornographic images and videos from the Internet. The unit's investigative efforts have also resulted in a 100 percent conviction rate.
