Henderson Police Department Activity Report

hend police arrest1 300HENDERSON, Ky. (7/22/13) – Over the weekend, the Henderson Police Department responded to:
 
A Second Degree Burglary that reportedly occurred at the 500 block of MLK between 9:38 p.m. on Friday, July 19, and 12:15 a.m. on Saturday, July 20. The victim stated forced entry was involved and that items valued at less than $500 were stolen. No arrests have been made at this time.
 
The Henderson Police Department responded to an accident with injuries at the intersection of 2nd Street and North Elm Street on Friday, July 19, at 5:45 p.m. The accident reportedly involved Unit 1 traveling southbound on North Elm Street and Unit 2 traveling northbound on North Elm Street. Unit 1 struck Unit 2 at the intersection while turning left onto 2nd Street. The driver of Unit 2 was taken to Methodist Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
 
An accident with injuries in the 400 block of South Green Street on Friday, July 19, at 4:52 p.m. Authorities said Mason Blair, 19, Henderson was traveling south on S. Green Street behind Bobby Roberts, 74, Owensboro. Blair was unable to stop in traffic and struck Roberts’ vehicle. Blair was transported by EMS to Methodist Hospital for treatment of injuries.
 
A report of Second Degree Robbery that allegedly occurred at the Mandarin House in the 1100 block of Barrett Blvd. on Saturday, July 20, at 7:41 p.m. An employee reported to police that three female suspects left the restaurant without paying for their food. The subjects allegedly left the scene in a tan four- door Ford. The employee suffered injuries while attempting to stop the subjects as they fled from the theft. Police said they haven’t made any arrests in the investigation at this time.
 
A report of Second Degree Burglary that allegedly occurred at the 500 block of Canoe Creek Drive between 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, and 9 a.m. on Sunday, July 21. The victim reported an unknown person entered his attached garage and stole less than $500 in items from his parked car inside. No arrests have been made at this time.
 
A report of Theft by Unlawful Taking from an Automobile (More Than $500). Police reported the alleged theft occurred in the 500 block of Sioux Lane on Saturday, July 20 between 7:30 p.m. and 12;15 p.m. on Sunday, July 21. The victim reported that an unknown subject unlawfully entered his unlocked vehicle parked in his driveway and stole over $500 in items. No arrests have been made at this time.
