Mayor Recommends Next City Administrative Officer

Hopkinsville Seal 02 300HOPKINSVILLE, KY (8/5/13) – Hopkinsville Mayor Dan Kemp today announced that he is recommending Nate Pagan to become the next City Administrative Officer.
 
Nate is a native of Owensboro, Kentucky and is currently employed as Director of Community Services for Daviess County, Kentucky. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Murray State University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
 
Mayor Kemp stated, “I am delighted to recommend such an outstanding and highly qualified candidate. I believe he will be a good fit for Hopkinsville because of his previous experience in Owensboro and his familiarity with the Pennyrile area.”
 
Mayor Kemp is recommending that Mr. Pagan begin at a salary of $84,750 which is Grade 24C under the City’s pay matrix.
 
If approved by City Council during its meeting Tuesday evening, Pagan’s effective date of employment would be August 30, 2013.
