Hopkins County Salvation Army Needs Your Help

salv thrif store 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (8/29/13) – The Hopkins County Salvation Army Family Store has issued a request asking for help from local citizens that care about our community as a whole.
 
Located at 805 McCoy Avenue, the Salvation Army Family Store is in need of furniture donations, as well as other items, such as toys, books, linens, etc. When you donate to the Salvation Army, your donations help with the financial services that they provide to our community.
 
The services that your donations will help with are…
 
Utility/Rent Assistance
Food Pantry
Soup Kitchen
KPAP
Summer Program
Women's League
Clothing
Fire Victims
Emergency Disaster
Christmas/Angel Tree
…and many more.
 
If you have furniture or large items that you cannot transport to the Family Store, you can call for pick-up. The Family Store does pick-ups on Thursdays. Your contact is store manager Stephanie, and the number is 270-821-8112.
 
The Salvation Army Family Store does pick-ups in Hopkins and Muhlenberg Counties. Donations should be in good and resalable condition. Furniture should have no rips, tears or stains.
 
The Salvation Army Family Store wishes to thank everyone who donates and those that shop in the Family Store. Your business makes a difference in your community.
