Muhlenberg Marching Mustangs Win Two Awards in Two Separate Competitions

conductor 300MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (9/16/13) – The Muhlenberg Marching Mustangs can likely relate to the Willie Nelson song "On The Road Again", after likely spending as much time in buses in route to contests this weekend as they spent on the field.

On Saturday, Sept 14, MCHS marching band performed at two separate band shows, first in Butler County Saturday afternoon, then at the Ohio County festival Saturday night. The MCHS brought home awards from each. In the early afternoon, at the Butler County Band Show, they placed second in class 5A and were Reserve Grand Champions. Later that evening, at the 52nd Annual Ohio County band show, they placed second in class 5A, were Reserve Grand Champions, tied for first place overall in Visual Performance and won Best Pit Crew. The name of their show this year is "A Woman Scorned."
