hallowee events 300HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (10/29/13) – Upon the recommendation of Christian County Emergency Management Director Randy Graham, the schedule for this year’s Halloween activities and events have been adjusted due to the likelihood of dangerous storms.

City officials expressed their regret for any inconvenience this may cause to downtown businesses and families, noting the safety of our children must be the first priority. In this case, it appears rescheduling is the best option to let the weather run its course.

The revised schedule follows:
- Downtown Trick-or-Treat will be held on Friday, November 1st from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
- Hopkinsville neighborhood and organization trick-or-treat activities are encouraged to be observed on Friday, November 1st from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. only.

There has been no change in Trick R Treat at the Mall, which will be held on Thursday, October 31st from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bradford Square Mall.

Please note this release replaces any other related announcements.
