BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (11/14/13) - WKU honored 52 students from seven high schools in the Elizabethtown area for their academic achievements.
This year’s group has an average ACT composite score of 28.84 and grade-point average of 3.92; students invited included 35 Kentucky Governor’s Scholars and five National Merit Semi-finalists.
The following students were honored at a luncheon Nov. 12 at the State Theater in Elizabeth-town:
Central Hardin High School
Elizabethtown High School
Fort Knox High School
John Hardin High School
LaRue County High School
Meade County High School
North Hardin High School

• Nov. 19: Lexington Scholars Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. (Eastern time) at Keeneland’s Lafayette Room, 4201 Versailles Road, Lexington.
• Nov. 21: Louisville Scholars Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. (Eastern time) at The Frazier History Museum’s Fourth Floor Loft, 829 W. Main St., Louisville.
• Dec. 3: Owensboro Scholars Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. at the RiverPark Center, 101 Da-viess St., Owensboro.
