Museum Offers After Holiday Activities

hop museums 300HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (11/26/13) — Need a place to take out-of-town guests after Thanksgiving? A visit to the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County is an option.

The museums and museum shop will be open for regular hours on Friday, Nov. 29 and Saturday, Nov. 30.

The museums will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28.

The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County is located at 217 East Ninth Street in downtown Hopkinsville and includes the Pennyroyal Area Museum, the Woody Winfree Fire-Transportation Museum and the Charles Jackson Circus Museum.

General admission to the Museum is $2 with special rates for seniors and children; there is no admission fee for the Museum Shop. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, 10am-3pm; and, closed Sundays and Mondays.
