New Year's Bash Basketball Tournament Still On

muhl hoops 300GREENVILLE, Ky. (1/3/14) — Although the weather outside has been frightful, the game inside the Muhlenberg County High School gym tonight should be delightful. While school was called off for the county school system, the tournament will go on as scheduled.

Some areas of the state were not affected by the wintry mix that caused hazardous roads in Muhlenberg, and teams from all over the state will be traveling to the MCHS tourney. So, the games will go on.

The First Security Bank New Year’s Bash is scheduled for Jan. 3 and Jan. 4 at MCHS West Campus.

Teams competing include the Muhlenberg Mustangs, Lexington’s Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, the McCracken County Mustangs, Henderson County, Louisville Trinity and the Owensboro High School Red Devils.
