geo bee 300BENTON, Ky. (1/16/14) — Ben Samson, a seventh grade student at South Marshall Middle School, won the school-level competition of the National Geographic Bee on Wednesday, Jan. 15, and now has a chance at a $50,000 college scholarship. The school-level Bee, at which students answered oral questions on geography, was the first round of the 26th annual National Geographic Bee.
