JSMC-VOLUNTEER20-year JSMC volunteer James Taylor is flanked by Donna Craig, volunteer leader and Eric Lee, JSMC president and CEO.HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (4/11/14) — As part of National Volunteer Week (April 6 - 12), Jennie Stuart Medical Center has commended seven volunteers for service milestones.

  • For  20 years of service, James Taylor.

  • For 10 years of service, Jackie Helms, Maxine Locke and Patsy Wall.

  • For five years of service, Barbara Lose, Sharon Robertson and Judy Turner.

Hospital administration hosted a lunch today in their honor, attended by more than 40 of the hospital’s volunteers.

Hospital volunteers greet patients in the Emergency Department, transport patients within the hospital, deliver flowers and mail, staff the gift shop and perform other duties. Volunteers range in age from 20 and up.
