  • The Hopkins County Board of Education will be holding a regular meeting 5:30 p.m. April 21 at their Central Office. For more information, call (270) 825-6100.

  • The planned public hearing that was to occur in City Council Chambers 4 p.m. April 21 has been cancelled. For more information, call (270) 824-2100.

  • The Madisonville City Council will hold a work session with the Hopkins County Joint Planning Committee 2 p.m. April 21 in the Mayor’s Conference Room at City Hall. For more information, call (270) 824-2100.

  • The Madisonville-Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce will hold a Hot Topic Lunch featuring a Legislative Wrap-Up 11:30 a.m. April 21 at the Madisonville Lions Club. For more information, call (270) 821-3435.

  • The regular meeting of the Mahr Park Planning Committee will be held 10 a.m. April 21 in the City Hall conference room. For more information, call (270) 824-2100.

  • Hopkins County Schools will hold their Talent Show Series District Competition for elementary students 6 p.m. April 22 at the Glema Mahr Center.
