Cardiac Electrophysiologist, Gregory G. Bashian, MD, Now Seeing Patients in Hopkinsville

Gregory-G.-Bashian-MDDr. Gregory G. BashianCHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (4/24/14) — Gregory G. Bashian, MD, FACC, FHRS, cardiac electrophysiologist for Centennial Heart Cardiovascular Consultants in Nashville, Tenn., began seeing patients in Hopkinsville April 4.

Dr. Bashian is board certified in cardiology, internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac electrophysiology. He specializes in invasive and non-invasive management of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, pulmonary vein antrum isolation (atrial fibrillation ablation) and implantation, extraction and management of pacemakers and implantable cardiac defibrillators.

Dr. Bashian is a graduate of Yale University and received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he graduated from both with honors. He then served his internship and residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University, where he also completed a fellowship in nuclear cardiology. Dr. Bashian has also completed clinical fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and cardiac electrophysiology and pacing at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Bashian’s clinic is located on the campus of Jennie Stewart Hospital at 1600 Canton Street in Hopkinsville, Ky. In addition to offering appointments in Hopkinsville, Dr. Bashian sees patients at Centennial Heart's main office located at 2400 Patterson Street, Suite 502, in Nashville, Tenn.
