Apollo Area Alliance to Host Yard Sale May

appollo-yard-saleOWENSBORO, Ky. (5/5/14) — The Apollo Area Alliance will host a community yard sale Saturday, May 24 from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Neighbors are invited to bring items to Century Christian Church to sell at a booth. Booth reservations are $20 with 100 percent of the proceeds going towards the Apollo Area Alliance (non-profit) to help support various community improvement projects including the Cliff Hagan Boys and Girls Club.

The Apollo Area Alliance represents neighborhoods between Carter Road and Frederica Street and between the U.S. 60 Bypass and Southtown Boulevard. The alliance also includes Twin Lakes subdivision, south of Southtown and neighborhoods south of Tamarack Road. The alliance meets 6:00 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of every month at Century Christian Church.
