trafficalert green 300CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (5/24/14) — CSX Railroad plans to close Kentucky 115 in the Pembroke community of Christian County for two days starting on Tuesday, May 27.

This closure of Kentucky 115/Pembroke-Oak Grove Road at mile point 10.443 just south of the U.S. 41 intersection in Pembroke is to allow an upgrade of the rail crossing between Maple Street and Hopson Street.

There will be NO MARKED DETOUR.  However, passenger vehicles may self-detour via side streets.  There will no detour for trucks.  Numerous message boards will advise trucks to avoid entering Pembeoke on Kentucky 115 from I-24 Exit 89.

Kentucky 115 is expected to close at approximately 8 a.m., and is expected to reopen to traffic sometime Wednesday afternoon.
