peveler-assault-arrestBEECHMONT, Ky. (7/17/14) — Muhlenberg County Deputy Sheriff Pat Putnam responded to a domestic disturbance at 311 McGinley Loop in Beechmont Wednesday, July 16 that resulted in an arrest for assault.

Putnam arrested William O. Peveler of above address, and charged him with second-degree assault.

A witness alleged that Peveler pulled out a large pocket knife and stabbed a juvenile during an argument.

The juvenile was treated on the scene by the Muhlenberg Emergency Medical Services.

Putnam and EMS were assisted by Kentucky State Police, Greenville Police Department and Beechmont Fire Department.
