GREENVILLE, Ky. (7/18/14) — Mustang Sports are heating up with preseason practices.

Coach Tom Reve discussed the Mustang Varsity and Junior Varsity girls soccer team with optimism.

"I believe the team will do well,” said Reve. “It is a very young team but it has a lot of potential."

This is Reve's first year coaching Mustang girls soccer but he has had prior experience coaching at Christian County High School.

The boys soccer team is coached by Grant Sharp, who believes his team will be very successful this year.

"I am expecting big things this year,” said Sharp. “We have a lot of returning players. One of those players is junior Dan Marigny. Last year, he scored 40 goals. We also have junior Chad Krawiec, who plays right wing, and scored 17 goals last year."

Mustang football head coach Hays Browning is looking forward to another winning season.

"I expect the team to be competitive in every game,” said Browning. “I encourage each player to be the best they can be in every game. The team was 6-5 last year, and it was the first winning season in the team's history."

Mustang quarterback Hunter Combs believes in the team's strength mentally and physically.

"The team is going to do well this year,” said Combs. “The team is mentally and physically strong. In a couple of weeks, we will face Ohio County. We will see how it goes from there.”
