The American Urological Association recommends regular prostate cancer screening for healthy men ages 55-69. Men in the high-risk group who have a family history of prostate cancer or who are African American should begin screening at age 40.The hospital thanks two members of the JSMC Medical Staff for conducting the screenings: urologist H. Ken Dougherty, MD and radiation oncologist Michael Murray, MD.
