HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (3/12/13) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans milling of rumble strips along US 41-Alternate/Ft. Campbell Boulevard in Southern Christian County starting Tuesday, March 12, 2013.
This will be a moving work zone starting at the Interstate 42 Interchange and moving southward toward the Kentucky-Tennessee State Line and back.
Motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach this moving work zone and use caution where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
Following completion of the rumble strip milling along US 41-A/Ft. Campbell Boulevard, the crew will move to the US 68 Bypass at Hopkinsville and then work along US 68 in the Hopkinsville area.
We will attempt to provide timely updates as this work progresses.
