Bluegrass Pharmacy Awarded for Outstanding Community Services

bluegrass healthykids 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (5/23/13) – Owners of Bluegrass Pharmacy, Julie and Gary Russell were recently recognized for their Outstanding Achievement for Community Services.
 
The Pharmacy has been offering the Healthy Kids Vitamin Program since April of this year. The award was given by the City of Madisonville for business and industry leaders that illustrates Community Services through programs such as what Bluegrass Pharmacy offers.
 
The Healthy Kids Vitamin Program offers a 30-day supply of children’s vitamins to the children in Hopkins County and surrounding areas each month. Since this program has started, it has helped fill in the nutritional gap and in the long run will save families hundreds of dollars a year. Children ages 2-12 will receive a 30-day supply a month of FDA-approved Nature’s Blend Children’s Chewable vitamins.
 
Parents or Guardians must register their child/children for the program at Bluegrass Pharmacy, located on 1128 N. Main Street here in Madisonville. Families that pick up their vitamins every 30 days for 6 months will be entered in to win a free Pizza Party at Fun 4 Kidz for 16 friends.
