BUS DRIVER/DISPATCHER: Safety sensitive position regulated under the Dept. of Transportation; Lead employee responsible for safely dispatching transit system operations and driving transit vehicles as needed. Reports mechanical problems and arranges for repairs; Counts daily sales revenue; Manages incoming calls and complaints.
REQUIRED AT TIME OF APPLICATION: High School diploma or GED; OR minimum of 1 year experience as a Bus Driver; OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Driver’s License required, PLUS valid KY CDL, Class B with “P” endorsement. Supervisory experience preferred. Starting $13.4731/hr. Excellent benefits.
MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST: Safety sensitive position responsible for maintaining buildings and equipment for all city owned properties, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. REQUIRED AT TIME OF APPLICATION: Associates degree in Maintenance or other job-related field; OR minimum 2 years work-related experience as a Maintenance Specialist or similar position (e.g., welding, carpentry, plumbing, electrical); OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Driver’s License required; Also requires valid KY Class B CDL or higher, within 11 months of employment, or as otherwise notified. Starting $15.7149/hr. Excellent benefits.
