Arrests Made in Walmart Robbery

ARREST  THREE OBOOWENSBORO, KY (5/15/12) – On April 27, 2012, at approximately 11:30 a.m. the Owensboro Police Department responded to a Robbery call at Walmart, located at 5031 Frederica Street.
 
Three suspects were allegedly shoplifting from the Walmart store, and when stopped by security, the male suspect brandished a large knife. There were no reported injuries. The suspects fled in a silver Nissan Altima.
 
Today, May 15, 2012, all three suspects are in custody after a tip from the community led police to their whereabouts.
 
The Owensboro Police Department received a Crime Stoppers tip that led to a joint investigation by OPD and the Evansville Police Department. The tipster recognized the suspects from surveillance video that had been released by the Owensboro Police Department.
 
Arrest warrants were subsequently served on all three suspects, listed below.
