Multi-Vehicle Accident on KY 54

crash 300OWENSBORO, KY (6/8/12) – On Thursday, June 7, 2012, at approximately 6:37 PM, Kentucky State Police (KSP) received an alert of a potential accident with injuries on the 9200 block of KY HWY 54.

Once on the scene, Troopers found that Johnathan K. Morris was operating a 1997 Toyota Pickup on KY 54 when he attempted to make a left hand turn into the Vessel's convenient store parking lot. Mr. Morris turned directly into the path of a 2007 Honda Pilot, operated by Terri L. Thompson. The Honda Pilot was then forced into a 2008 Ford Mustang operated by Melissa D. Manuel who was attempting to exit the parking lot. After Mrs. Thompson's vehicle struck the Ford Mustang, it then struck the rear of a 2001 Chevrolet Pickup which was parked at the convenient store.
