Crack Cocaine Bust on Benttree Drive

ARREST LLOYDOWENSBORO, KY (12/14/12) – On Wednesday, December 12, at approximately 3:00 PM, the Owensboro Police Department (OPD) Street Crimes Unit partnered with Kentucky State Police on a drug sting operation.
 
According to OPD officials, law enforcement executed a search warrant at 3824 Benttree Drive, apartment A. This location was part of an ongoing investigation conducted by Street Crimes detectives.
 
During the search, authorities located approximately 17 grams of crack cocaine and other items indicative of an ongoing crack cocaine trafficking operation. Street value of the seized cocaine is approximately $1,500.
 
As a result of the bust, 44-year-old Angelo D. Lloyd was arrested on charges of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance and Buy/Possess Drug Paraphernalia. Lloyd is currently lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
