DUI Results in Injuries in Highway 54 Accident

arrest wrightOWENSBORO, Ky. (1/8/13) – On January 8, 2013, at approximately 7:45 AM, Owensboro Police Department patrol officers responded to an accident with injuries call in the 3100 block of Highway 54.
 
While investigating the collision, officers located a small amount of marijuana and open alcohol containers in a white passenger car that was involved. The vehicle operator, Logan Wright, was taken into custody on numerous charges.
 
Wright had been traveling eastbound when he sideswiped one vehicle that was in the center turn lane before rear-ending another vehicle that was stopped at the traffic light.
 
Multiple victims were treated on scene for non-life threatening injuries.
 
Logan Wright is lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center on charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs, Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia-Buy/Possess and Disorderly Conduct.
